Get ready for a different theme almost every day as we count down to summer! Here are the upcoming highlights for the rest of April and early May:
• Every Friday in April: Wear PURPLE! 💜
• April 14th: Wear CAMO! 🪖
• April 15th: National PURPLE UP Day! 💟
• April 16th (A): Appreciation Day – Students will draw names and write kind notes to classmates. 🅰️
• April 17th (B): Bubbles at recess! 🫧
• April 20th (C): Chalk Day – Sidewalk chalk fun during recess. ✏️
• April 21st (D): Disney Day – Dress in your favorite Disney gear! 🏰
• April 22nd (E): Eat Outside/Earth Day. 🌍
• April 23rd (F): Friendship Bracelets – Exchange bracelets provided by the office! 🤝
• April 27th (G): Game Day – Games in class! 🎲
• April 28th (H): Hat Day – Wear a hat (and look out for a hat giveaway!). 🧢
• April 29th (I): Ice Cream Sandwich Day! 🍦
• April 30th (J): Jersey Day. 🎽
• May 1st (K): Knowledge Day! Bring a fact to share! 🧠
• May 4th (L): Star Wars Day – Wear your favorite space gear for a Light Saber surprise! ✨
• May 5th (M): Music/Dance Party Day 🎶
• May 6th (N): New Name Day – Wear "Hello, My Name Is" tags and teachers will use your chosen names 🏷️
• May 7th (O): Outdoor Day – Head outside to teach what you know 🌳
• May 8th (P): Pajama Day 💤
• May 11th (Q): Quiet Day/Read-a-thon (9:00 AM – 9:30 AM) 🤫
• May 12th (R): Rock n Roll/Rockets – Wear rock shirts and rockets at recess 🎸🚀
• May 13th (S): Stripes/Sour – Wear stripes and enjoy a sour treat from the office 🦓🍋
• May 14th (T): Team Day – Check with your teacher to see how your class "team" is dressing up 🏫
• May 15th (U): Upside Down Day 🙃
• May 18th (V): Vampire Day – Wear vampire teeth to Field Day 🧛♂️
• May 19th (W): Walk of Fame – Celebrating high school graduates and our End of Year Assembly 🎓
• May 20th (X): Xtra Day – Xtra dressed up staff for 6th-grade graduation and xtra recess 👔
• May 21st (Y): Wear Yellow and Kindergarten Graduation 💛
• May 22nd (Z): Zip up and Zoom out – Have a great summer! 🎒
