This year, we're making birthdays extra special with our new **Birthday Table** at lunch! All students can now celebrate their big day by sitting at our specially decorated table with their friends. It's our way of making sure everyone feels celebrated and loved on their birthday.

🐲Doxey Elementary's FIRST House Activity of the year! 🎉

Our incredible RCA Houses – 💚Isibindi (Courage), 🖤Altruismo (Altruism), ❤️Amistad (Friendship), and 💙Rêveur (Dreamer) – came together for the very first time this school year! It was heartwarming to see new and old friendships blossom as our students connected with their housemates.

What a fantastic way to build community and spirit!

It was a big morning for our little ones, but they were so excited to meet their new friends and amazing teachers here at Doxey Elementary. Dexter the Dragon even came out to welcome all the new students! 🐲

The Dragons are BACK and ready to soar! 🔥 Our amazing students walked through the doors this morning with smiles, backpacks, and big dreams for the year ahead.

Special shoutout to Dexter for stopping by to give our Dragons the perfect send-off! 📸 Our incredible teachers captured all those precious "settling in" moments as students found their new classrooms and started making memories.

🔥🐉 Doxey Dragons had a special visitor today! 🐉🔥 Guess who was spotted roaming the halls of Doxey Elementary?! None other than our favorite, one and only, Dexter the Dragon mascot! Dexter was clearly feeling the Doxey spirit today, and we even caught him appreciating the amazing pictures of our phenomenal Principal, our incredible Office Manager, and our fantastic Facility Manager. Gotta love a mascot who knows how to recognize greatness! 😉 And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Dexter was also seen dropping some epic dabs in the hallway! Here's what you need to know: Who: Free for all children 1-18 years of age. When: Monday-Thursday, June 2nd to July 23rd. Time: Lunch will be served from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. No Lunch on Fridays: Please note there will be no lunch served on Fridays. Holiday Closure: No lunch will be served on Monday, June 16th due to the holiday. 🎓They did it! Our Doxey Dragons 6th Graders officially graduated last wednesday! 🐉 What a day of celebrations! The ceremony was awesome, with great words from Mr. Jones and Ms. Goodfellow, plus incredible speeches and songs from Bridget Bertelsen and Hezekiah Alvey, and Principal Hansen. The energy in the room was electric with so many friends, family, and Doxey staff showing up to cheer on our graduates! So much love in one place! ❤️ And because they totally earned it, our 6th graders spent the rest of their graduation day having a blast at Boondocks! 🎉 What a way to celebrate all their hard work and accomplishments. We're going to miss this amazing group, but we know they're going to do incredible things. 🎉What a day at Doxey Elementary! 🐉 Our Dragons had a jam-packed and incredibly special day today, enjoying the beautiful weather and making memories. We kicked things off with an amazing assembly where our new Student Council was selected, and a huge congratulations to our incredible office manager, Tara Nichol, who received our 2nd ever Pride of Doxey Award! So well-deserved! 💖 🐲 We then celebrated our outstanding students with the Golden Dragon Awards, where each teacher shared inspiring words about their chosen student's amazing year. And the excitement didn't stop there! We tallied up those last-minute house points for everything from PTA Reflections and A+ attendance to our Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, and MLK Speech Contest! 🏫 🏆After all the points were in, the moment we've been waiting for... a massive congratulations to ISIBINDI, our House Cup Winner! 💚 ⚽ But wait, there's more!
