We currently have a Headstart Pre-school in the morning (8:45 AM - 12:45PM) and a Title 1 Pre-School in the afternoon (1:15 PM - 3:25 PM). Below are all the opportunities for Preschool in Davis School DIstrict.
Evaluations are completed by qualified Special Education professionals. An Individual Education Program (IEP) is developed by a team of professionals, including the parents, for children who qualify for services. Children receive services in a variety of settings based on their IEP. The Davis School District Early Childhood Programs believe that children with disabilities are best served in a classroom with typically developing peers. The regular preschool classroom provides opportunities for children with disabilities to access regular curriculum with adaptations and specialized instruction to meet individual needs. The purpose of the Early Intervention program is to provide help early on for babies and toddlers who exhibit significant developmental delays. Click below to get more information on the District website.
Head Start is an equal opportunity program and does not discriminate against race, religion or gender. Davis Head Start/Early Head Start does not deny placement based on a disability or its severity to any child.
